BUSINESS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Our focus is to provide a safe and secure environment for your dog. I need to understand as much information about your dog as possible and require you to complete the form you are given on your initial groom. If anything alters it is your responsibility to let me know.

Having been offered an appointment by phone message, text or email, you need to reply within 6 hours to accept the appointment or the time slot will be offered to someone else. 

If you wish to cancel, 48 hours-notice prior to the groom must be given or full price may be charged appointments. If you do NOT show up for your appointment full price for the groom will be charged. If you are cancelling your appointment and are leaving a message please leave your name, dogs name, time and date of appointment.

Prices are quoted “from” only and may be slightly more than quoted if the dog proves to be aggressive, matted or has fleas.

Any on-line bank transfer payments must be made before the appointment definitely before collection, bank details are Miss L Irwin Lloyds Bank 30 96 61  00849632 . Cash is the preferred method of payment.

Please ensure that your dog has been exercised prior to the appointment. Being bathed and groomed with a full bladder is not comfortable.

Please arrive on time for your appointment. We do try to accommodate you if you are late but it may just mean a bath and quick trim but full price charged. If you are late collecting your dog it will be charged at £5.00 every 15 minutes.

If your dog shows aggression or distress during the groom, I reserve the right to discontinue to groom your dog but some payment will still be required.

If post groom, any medical issues including skin irritations arise, they must be disclosed to me immediately or within 24 hours. This can be done by email, text or phone.

If the dog is matted and short/close clipping is required , it may be expected that redness or a haematoma could occur due to the blood rushing back into the area once the mat has been released. This particularly happens on the ear tips and is more likely if the dog is allowed to shake its head   If ear plucking has been neglected it is expected that this could also cause irritation also any eye irritation will be made worse if the dog is able to scratch its eye on rough or dirty surfaces

Hand-stripping can only be completed if the dogs coat is dead, if the dog is overweight or neutered this affects the coat and the strip may not be completed

Only one dog at a time can be accepted, even from if they are from the same family. All dogs are being bathed BEFORE entering the grooming room.
