"I had my first dog at the age of 17, a Labrador which I showed and trained for obedience, then 4 years later a Flatcoated Retriever who was also basic obedience trained and then introduced to gundog training with the United Retriever Club at Windsor Great Park.
Winning a novice test quite early on and being invited to take the dogs on a local shoot, I really got the bug for gundog training.
I progressed to being a trainer, taking puppy socialisation classes, obedience and also training show handling at ringcraft classes. I have trained dogs for agility and did basic training of a puppy for Canine Partners (dogs for people in wheelchairs).
I have also competed in obedience and in gundog working tests and trials gaining a 3rd in an open Flatcoated Retriever trial and a C.O.M in an AV Novice Retriever trial.
In addition, I have experience judging shows and gundog tests/ trials.
Classes are suitable for junior handlers (those under 18 years) who are encouraged to compete and can be lent dogs for training and shows."

"Thank you so much for the training you have done with Maddie, you have worked wonders! She is so much calmer and a joy to take for a walk now."
